Gift voucher

What better gift than an evening of theatre pleasure (or more than one)! You choose the amount that the recipient can use throughout one year, at the ticket desk or online. The remaining amount will still be available, so you don't have to spend the entire voucher in one go.

In line with the Kaaitheater motto ‘How to Be Many?’, we want to make tickets as accessible as possible for as many people as possible. With Pay What You Can, tickets are available at a price of your choosing.

How does Pay What You Can work? For each performance, there is a series of prices from which you can choose. Would a lower price make it more likely that you come? Then feel free to choose that price. Can you afford a higher ticket price? That way, you can make sure that others can pay less.

Please note: where we organise performances together with other theatres, this system only applies if you buy tickets via Kaaitheater. Different prices may apply at the box office on the night of the performance.

Would you like to go to five different performances by yourself? Or rather with five people to one performance? Or something in between? With the new 5xKAAI pass you can buy 5 tickets for 50 euros. The pass is valid for the programme from September on and is not limited to one person. Because shared fun is five times as fun!

HOW TO USE THE 5xKAAI PASS?
When purchasing the pass, you will receive a unique code. Use it when booking a performance in the relevant field. The code is valid for 5 performance tickets and is valid for a year.

*You cannot use the pass for the performances in the framework of PeriferiK nor for events with food.

Our new favourite neighbour. Its name refers to a time when many ‘kriekelaars’ (sour cherry trees) were all over Schaerbeek. Today, De Kriekelaar and Brussels collective ‘Buumkwekers’ have replanted more than 350 trees in many gardens in Schaerbeek in an attempt to bring the tree back.

We’re sure you know AB as one of the most famous concert halls of Belgium, but did you know we used to be roommates? In 1990, after years of noise complaints, Ancienne Belgique was forced to move to do extensive renovation works and temporarily moved into the Lunatheater building, where we made our permanent home. After six years, they said goodbye and moved back to the centre, but we are still good friends to this day.

You can find all the accessibility information about the AB here.

The Varia building had several lives before becoming a theatre. Constructed in 1900, it has functioned as an opera house, a cinema, a community hall and a car workshop/garage.

‘At Théâtre Varia, we ask you to notify us in advance if you are less mobile, visually or hearing impaired. We are aware that our facilities are not yet fully autonomous, but we are actively working to improve them by the end of autumn. In any case, we will be happy to welcome you with the appropriate assistance.

Théâtre Varia has a disabled toilet.

Unfortunately, our current facilities in Studio Varia are not accessible to people with reduced mobility from the stairs leading to the auditorium.’
