Inside out


The Kaaitheaterstudio’s have often been the venue for work by the Norwegian-Belgian choreographer Mette Edvardsen. She has various solos to her name in which space plays an important role. This season she will be taking new steps in her artistic explorations by working with a group of dancers and performers for the first time. Moreover, this time Edvardsen will focus on the passage of time. The spectator catches a glimpse of familiar situations, but in the world of Mette Edvardsen nothing is what it seems. A reversal of cause and effect, repetition, duplication and superimposition ensure that your experience is turned inside out. Edvardsen and her dancers prove that no special effects or technology are needed to achieve this.
