Kaaitheater is looking for a Hospitality Manager

Wanted
13.10.26

Since 1977, Kaaitheater has been a Flemish venue for contemporary living arts, based in Brussels and with an international focus.

We present dance, theater, performance art, and musical theater, often accompanied by contextual programs.

In September 2027, we will return to a completely renovated building on the redesigned Sainctelette Square. It will be an open space where the artistic program, social gatherings, hospitality, venue rentals, and events come together.
Our café plays a central role in this. It forms a direct link between Kaaitheater and the city: an accessible meeting place that supports the artistic program but also thrives outside of performances, where a diverse range of visitors and patrons feel welcome.

That is why we are expanding this operation in-house and are seeking an entrepreneurial hospitality manager who, starting in January 2027, will help shape, prepare, and expand the hospitality operations.

Function

As the hospitality manager, you will be responsible for developing and managing Kaaitheater’s hospitality operations. You will be hired during a crucial preparatory phase, well in advance of the opening in September 2027.

You’ll help build the operations from the ground up: from concept development and supplier relationships to team building and operational processes. In doing so, you’ll translate Kaaitheater’s vision into a welcoming, accessible hospitality operation. You’ll contribute ideas on how the café can welcome various visitors, including our public, artists, neighborhood residents, employees, and other users of the building.

After the opening, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the café, the foyer bars, catering, and hospitality support for program and rental activities.

You will work closely with the event manager and the various internal teams..
