Frank Bölter

performance

Together with the audience, the German artist Frank Bölter folds a paper boat and sails out into the canal in it. With any luck he bobs around for hours. If his luck runs out he sinks before he can return to shore. Nevertheless, he is the captain and stays with his ship! Bölter´s work is characterised by highly poetic images and is often performed in public space.
