BAUER HOUR

Festival

Let’s see what happens

It started as an experiment – let’s see what happens – but is now an established event: the BAUER HOUR by artist-in-residence Eleanor Bauer. This season she has been given carte blanche for her own show in the Kaaistudios on five Tuesday evenings. It is described as ‘a talk show, variety show, shit show, parlour show, all or none of the above and also an experiment’. BAUER HOUR is an opportunity to try things out, to practise and amuse, to talk about things that would otherwise keep you awake at night, a place where you hear things ‘for the first time’. BAUER HOUR is not about Bauer but about her guests… within the ruckus frame of la Bauer, of course. Guests can tell their stories in any way they please: narrate, argue, chat, natter, joke, orate, pontificate, rave, reason etc. Saying nothing is also allowed, especially for guests who prefer dance or mime. BAUER HOUR is quality time. One hour long.
