Komposition ontstond in drie lange werkperiodes, waarbij de danseressen repeteerden voor ‘levend publiek’. De dansvoorstelling cirkelt  rond het thema van de groep: hoe kijken we naar een groep, hoe ervaren we een groep, hoe staat een groep op de scène tegenover de toeschouwers. De danseressen verdienden hun sporen bij o.a. Rosas en Superamas.
