In Many Hands
Met In Many Hands zoekt Kate McIntosh het tactiele op. Ze nodigt je uit om te testen en aan te raken, maar ook om te luisteren en te ruiken. Samen met andere bezoekers ga je – zonder te spreken – aan het experimenteren met materialen in een reeks zintuiglijke ‘situaties’. In Many Hands is deels laboratorium, deels expeditie, deels meditatie: volg je neus en je nieuwsgierigheid!
• Artist-in-residence Kate McIntosh overstijgt met haar werk de grenzen van performance, theater, video en installatie. Wat daarin telkens opvalt is de manier waarop ze de afstand tussen speler en publiek weet te overbruggen, en haar voorliefde voor theatrale beelden. In één week tijd kun je drie van haar producties meemaken, speels balancerend op de lijn tussen wetenschap, entertainment, experiment, variété, filosofie en eclectische verhalen.
