In In Many Hands, artist-in-residence Kate McIntosh explores tactility. She invites you to test and to touch, but also to listen and to smell. Along with other visitors, but without speaking, you will experiment with materials in a series of sensorial ‘situations’. In Many Hands is part laboratory, part expedition, part meditation: follow your nose and your curiosity!

What happens on a fully booked airplane of people who do not know each other when it becomes clear that it is going to crash? Do the passengers become isolated within themselves or do they turn to one another for support? In Dying Together, you will take part in a physically performed thought experiment. A gradually changing constellation of people – and the physical relationships between them – creates a colourful pallet of possible relationships.

The live video installation Instant Fiction films everyday situations in public places, following the principles of security systems. The difference is that this footage is supplied with subtitles in real time, taken from the scripts of a wide range of different films. Contemporary reality thus transforms into a set with actors who are completely unaware.
