Kernenergie. Maken we ons illusies?

talk

Thu 19.05.11

Since the events at Fukushima, the use of nuclear energy has once again
come to the forefront of public debate. And who better to put the cat
among the pigeons than Professor Aviel Verbruggen. At the invitation of
the Kaaitheater and the Masereelfonds, he will be making an analysis of
the way the nuclear lobby steers the media and politics. After the
debate, the theatre-maker Davis Freeman will present the occasionally
hilarious but none the less highly relevant performance Seven Promises in the Kaaicafé.

Their material consists of authentic and fictional audio documents either made in 1989 or related to it by content: pop songs, excerpts from radio and TV shows, private recordings and so on.
