PERFORMATIK 2015 - For twelve days pianist and conductor Marino Formenti retreats into the Zsenne art lab. He lives and sleeps, eats and plays there the whole day, while music and silence alternate, and time and space flow into one.

Arnold Schönberg’s Verklärte Nacht (1899) is inspired by a poem by Richard Dehmel, about a woman who tells the man she loves she is pregnant by another man. In 1995 Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker created a group choreography based on Schönberg’s composition. She has now rewritten the piece as a duet. A shameless romantic love story in the dark light of a Verklärte Nacht (transfigured night).
