Thu 20.04 - Fri 21.04.23

For Licht, Tea Tupajić uses the power of theatre to reach a place where language and other media cannot get to. For a year, she invited four Yezidi women to retreat together and undertake the journey towards performance.

The Waves
Tue 07.06 - Wed 08.06.22

The Waves is a ritual, a manifesto, an immersive experience in which feminine beauty, vulnerability and pain are central. On the wave of a feminine energy, a physical space is created in which the five players dare to look traumas of oppression and abuse of power in the eye and finally bury them and leave them behind. An urgent and uncompromising theatrical experience.

Fri 21.01 - Sat 22.01.22

Tine Van Aerschot's new performance is a cross between a Catholic worship service, a political party conference, a Tupperware evening and an occult celebration of the winter solstice. On stage are actresses Lois Lumonga Brochez, Aurelie Di Marino and Mira Bryssinck – they play God, Devil and Narrator. The audience also plays a role: everyone gets to sing, pray and incant.

BLOOD LTD by Bloet
Tue 09.11 - Wed 10.11.21

In the coming years, Jan Decorte and Sigrid Vinks will focus on collaborating with young performers. BLOOD LTD by Bloet is a project with the density of a black hole. All themes, visions, opinions, dogmas and manifestos are swallowed up and evolve from a meaningless zero to a meaningful chaos. Jan Decorte and Sigrid Vinks, together with Ika Schwander and Oumar Dicko, create their own theatre language: light, whispering and fleeting.

Wed 06.10 - Sun 10.10.21

For this ‘remake’ of Iemand van ons (2005), Tristero has mobilized a seasoned cast with plenty of life experience. Mark Verstraete, Bob De Moor, Kristin Arras, Sam Bogaerts, Mieke Verdin and Els Olaerts all get into a big bed together and talk about politics, love and life. With a great sense of humour, they ask one another personal questions, listen, toss and turn on the bed, and reveal their inner selves.

Two adults and a child
Thu 23.09 - Fri 24.09.21

On stage: two adults and a child, unrehearsed, invited anew for every show. The child, on headphones, seems to be in charge. The adults copy the movements of children they see on screens around them. This puppet-like dance illustrates the stories, songs and dreams selected and whispered by the voices of yet more children as useful examples of vulnerability or surprise. Who are these kids?

Re-claiming Space is an exploration of the space of womanhood and how to transcend it. Khadija’s work process is characterized by leaving certain things undetermined, so the performance takes shape onstage.

In the second part, the voices are accompanied by eight musicians from Ictus.
