Working Title Situation #01 - As an official negotiator during the climate conference in Lima in December 2014, Jozef Wouters started visualising the metaphors connected to the ecological and political discourse. During Working Title Situation #01, he will pursue their impact on the ways we depict the world around us, in conversation with Jeroen Peeters.

Working Title Situation #01 - With MARVELOUS Bryan Campbell developed both a performance and a magazine. The experience of flipping through its pages is recreated in the collective theatre space.

Working Title Situation #01 - Prince of Networks materialises as an experiential capsule where we gather to visually reflect upon different states of matter and its natural cycles. During this particular experiment, Rodrigo Sobarzo will focus on the cultivation of flies. Out of decomposition a newborn insect/technology is conceived and dies again. Prince of Networks is a visual manifesto probing new ecologies that blends the digital and the analogue as one.

Working Title Situation #01 - Salva Sanchis' series Islands consists of a collection of small dance pieces that will be presented both individually and in different combinations. There are solos, duets and trios ranging from 1 to 12 minutes long each. Each piece results from a different research topic and has its own separate identity.

Las Ideas draws us into the life and mental universe of an artist. We see the transformation of an idea at work from the inside: how it takes shape, grows and acquires a definitive expression.

How do we touch without touching one another? Four dancers explore the memory and the limits of the body and the mind’s connections. The spectator inhabits the same imaginative space as the performers and becomes part of an empathetic, imagined touch.

Choreographer Cindy Van Acker starts her new solo with sentences and images she derives from Friedrich Nietzsche. Another source of inspiration is the tortured bodies and anatomical figures in the work of Berlinde De Bruyckere. And the first definition of the word chaos: a new emptiness, a new nothing.

An older man and a young woman have drawn up and signed a contract. The man receives the young woman in his house. She will remain here, says the contract, ‘until what must happen has happened’. In this performance the writer and director Peter Verhelst pays tribute to the recently deceased French director Alain Resnais.

PERFORMATIK 2015 - In the first production of his own, Christian Bakalov (known for his work with Jan Fabre, Ivo Dimchev, Jérôme Bel and others) takes you on an anonymous journey in the dark, a place where boundaries are undefined. BRIGHT flirts with the near-darkness and sharpens your senses. Phosphorescent delusions/images stimulate your imagination. 

PERFORMATIK 2015 - Dancer and choreographer Philipp Gehmacher is a familiar guest at the Kaaitheater, from his collaboration with among others Meg Stuart and with his own creations. He introduces my shapes, your words, their grey as an exhibition of a visual and choreographic movement that infects the language of objects with the language of the body and linguistic language and that takes place in the medium of grey, in which all colours vibrate.
