Kernenergie. Maken we ons illusies?
Kaaitheater
Thu 19.05.11

Since the events at Fukushima, the use of nuclear energy has once again
come to the forefront of public debate. And who better to put the cat
among the pigeons than Professor Aviel Verbruggen. At the invitation of
the Kaaitheater and the Masereelfonds, he will be making an analysis of
the way the nuclear lobby steers the media and politics. After the
debate, the theatre-maker Davis Freeman will present the occasionally
hilarious but none the less highly relevant performance Seven Promises in the Kaaicafé.

The young Iraqi theatre maker Mokhallad Rasem (28) left Baghdad and came to Belgium in 2006. He is literally a man of many wars, as his generation has known little else. The son of one of Iraq’s most famous actors, he completed his studies in acting and directing and worked at the National Theatre in Baghdad for more than five years.
