Working Title Situation #01 - Gosie Vervloessems' work focuses on observing natural phenomena and asking questions about it. Recipes for Disaster is the umbrella title of her work, in which she more recently comes back to questions about classification and control. How do we cope with chaos in our daily lives?

Working Title Situation #01 - Inspired by Cecilia Eliceche's recent trip to Jamaica, following her fascination with femininity, sexuality and empowerment from a black Caribbean and South American perspective, the improvised movements will mainly focus on the power of the hips!

Starting from a round table format, philosophical and poetic questions about identity, memory, place, time, boundaries and landscape compose an imaginary voyage that gradually evolves in a series of one-on-one interviews and a walk.

Working Title Situation #01 - Ruta Butkute develops complex sculptural installations, inspired by other media such as video and movement research. Recently she started to collaborate with acrobats and improvisation dancers, who would increasingly determine both the shape as well as the spacing of her installations, and which stimulated her work to expand into the direction of performative installation work.

Working Title Situation #01 - Prince of Networks materialises as an experiential capsule where we gather to visually reflect upon different states of matter and its natural cycles. During this particular experiment, Rodrigo Sobarzo will focus on the cultivation of flies. Out of decomposition a newborn insect/technology is conceived and dies again. Prince of Networks is a visual manifesto probing new ecologies that blends the digital and the analogue as one.

Working Title Situation #01 - With MARVELOUS Bryan Campbell developed both a performance and a magazine. The experience of flipping through its pages is recreated in the collective theatre space.

PERFORMATIK 2015 - With their ritual, circular movements dancing dervishes (Sufi Muslims) attempt to reach a state of religious transcendence. For A Possibility of an Abstraction: Square Dance Germaine Kruip asked the dervishes to break through the circle and introduce square patterns into the dance ritual.

PERFORMATIK 2015 - A poetic performance about the complex relationship between man and nature. And a meeting between the special language of movement of the Icelandic dancer Bára Sigfúsdóttir (P.A.R.T.S., 2011), the work of the French visual artist Noémie Goudal, who combines illusion, stage design and photography to create surreal landscapes, and the Icelandic musician Borko.

PERFORMATIK 2015 - The CENTRALE presents an exhibition of the Spanish-Brussels artist Emilio López-Menchero, which includes a work by Esther Ferrer, a pioneer of performance art. Together they take the streets for the performance Se hace camino al andar. Emilio López-Menchero also presents his solo performance Claquettes.

PERFORMATIK 2015 - The French artist Béatrice Balcou has been working on a series called Untitled Ceremonies since 2013. In response to our fast-paced world, the ceremonies introduce a muted spotlight on art. By slowly revealing, looking at and contextualising one single artwork, the artist invites us to take our time.
