Working Title Situation #01 - Ruta Butkute develops complex sculptural installations, inspired by other media such as video and movement research. Recently she started to collaborate with acrobats and improvisation dancers, who would increasingly determine both the shape as well as the spacing of her installations, and which stimulated her work to expand into the direction of performative installation work.

Working Title Situation #01 - Prince of Networks materialises as an experiential capsule where we gather to visually reflect upon different states of matter and its natural cycles. During this particular experiment, Rodrigo Sobarzo will focus on the cultivation of flies. Out of decomposition a newborn insect/technology is conceived and dies again. Prince of Networks is a visual manifesto probing new ecologies that blends the digital and the analogue as one.

Working Title Situation #01 - With MARVELOUS Bryan Campbell developed both a performance and a magazine. The experience of flipping through its pages is recreated in the collective theatre space.

Choreographer Cindy Van Acker starts her new solo with sentences and images she derives from Friedrich Nietzsche. Another source of inspiration is the tortured bodies and anatomical figures in the work of Berlinde De Bruyckere. And the first definition of the word chaos: a new emptiness, a new nothing.

PERFORMATIK 2015 - In the first production of his own, Christian Bakalov (known for his work with Jan Fabre, Ivo Dimchev, Jérôme Bel and others) takes you on an anonymous journey in the dark, a place where boundaries are undefined. BRIGHT flirts with the near-darkness and sharpens your senses. Phosphorescent delusions/images stimulate your imagination. 

PERFORMATIK 2015 - Heine Avdal and Yukiko Shinozaki, masters of mysterious performances in everyday locations, continue to explore space and how it affects our body and our perception. To this end they use a structure of moveable objects. The spectator goes on a journey in his imagination and is perfectly prepared to encounter a certain ‘objecthood’. 

PERFORMATIK 2015 DOUBLE BILL - Body Not Fit For Purpose is the first overtly political work of choreographer Jonathan Burrows and musician Matteo Fargion. Its starting point is the uselessness of dancing to express anything of any real concern and at the same time the inherent, gloriously foolish radicality of the attempt. With sequenza, artist Manon de Boer and violinist and composer George van Dam present a programme of live performances and films around four compositions for solo violin

Two dancers appear on stage. They make noises, touch one another, move, explore each other’s bodies and so, in a ping-pong game of question and answer, invent a language – language as a ‘by-product’ of any artistic or love relationship. - Both shows have been cancelled due to injury.

An undercover police officer disguised as a clown, a man in drag losing his high heels in a riot, the audience invading the stage and collectively killing their fear... this autobiographical lecture performance turns the theatre into an assembly of hope and asks some disturbing questions about how to change our world. 

Myriam Van Imschoot visited a zoo, went to a motorway to listen with a tuning fork, discovered birds that sounded like chainsaws and imitated ringtones. Five performers – with backgrounds ranging from the noise underground scene to pop – will imitate these sounds using only their voices. You won’t believe your ears.

The Croatian artist and performer Vlatka Horvat invites 7 artists, born in different republics of the former Yugoslavia, to sit at a table and exchange stories and anecdotes, facts and rumours, reflections and thoughts about a country in which all of them grew up, but which no longer exists.
