Working Title Situation #01 - In his new performance A PIECE OF 2 - balancing human sized rocks, Nick Steur zooms in on his earlier work FREEZE. The original small stones that are meticulously balanced by hand will be replaced by two monumental rocks, balanced with the use of a crane manipulated by several performers.

Working Title Situation #01 - Salva Sanchis' series Islands consists of a collection of small dance pieces that will be presented both individually and in different combinations. There are solos, duets and trios ranging from 1 to 12 minutes long each. Each piece results from a different research topic and has its own separate identity.

PERFORMATIK 2015 - Dancer and choreographer Philipp Gehmacher is a familiar guest at the Kaaitheater, from his collaboration with among others Meg Stuart and with his own creations. PERFORMATIK 2015 DOUBLE BILL - Body Not Fit For Purpose is the first overtly political work of choreographer Jonathan Burrows and musician Matteo Fargion. Its starting point is the uselessness of dancing to express anything of any real concern and at the same time the inherent, gloriously foolish radicality of the attempt. With sequenza, artist Manon de Boer and violinist and composer George van Dam present a programme of live performances and films around four compositions for solo violin

Two dancers appear on stage. They make noises, touch one another, move, explore each other’s bodies and so, in a ping-pong game of question and answer, invent a language – language as a ‘by-product’ of any artistic or love relationship. - Both shows have been cancelled due to injury.

Looking at the proximity between ridiculousness and brutality in contemporary life, Nada Gambier and Marcos Simoes fiddle with the uncertainty of a constantly changing world and the confusion that this brings.

The internet is a source of inspiration for Barbara Matijević & Giuseppe Chico. YouTube is the subject of their new performance. The performer transforms the stage into an intimate room where she records her videos.  As she interacts with a range of devices inspired by machines, gadgets and toys commonly used by DIY filmmakers, the performance establishes close parallels between amateur and artistic practices.

A Needcompany Double Bill: the new performance by MaisonDahlBonnema is a study of rhythm and expression, a journey in which a live drummer fires up three performers. Maarten Seghers smartly exposes art practice in an everlasting pop song, a sculptural dance, a stand-up comedy show, a performance.
