Bernard Van Eeghem is a theatre-maker, artist and writer. In Sanglier / Bloedsomloopworst these activities are combined more than ever. Van Eeghem tells anecdotes from his youth in Bruges. One day his father took him to the procession of the Holy Blood. It made an indelible impression. In this performance, Van Eeghem paints what he tells and tells what he paints. Ending up with himself and his earliest beginnings. French-speaking theatre critics nominated Au Sanglier des Flandres for the 2012 Prix de la Critique.
